2024/25 Youth Concerts
Each year, thousands of students come to Boettcher Concert Hall for a captivating and immersive concert experience, many for the first time. This year’s theme, Destination Denver, will take students on a journey through Denver’s vibrant neighborhoods and explore the diverse musical traditions of the Mile High City. Join the Colorado Symphony and our featured artist collaborators, ArtistiCO Dance Company, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, and rapper Chinelo “Nelo” Tyler, as we take a musical tour of Denver from inside Boettcher Concert Hall.
Advanced classroom study is supported by Colorado State Music Standards and Common Core-aligned materials featuring this program’s repertoire.

Drums of the World

Description:
Take a trip around the world with our exuberant percussion crew! The air is full of driving beats and syncopation while the stage is filled with percussion instruments of all sorts, including a few you might not expect. You won’t be able to resist clapping along and tapping your feet all the way home. This dynamic concert is fun for the entire family!
Grades: 3 – 8
